If you’re a seafood lover who enjoys grilling at home, you won’t want to miss out on the truly authentic experience offered by Pedro’s Fish Market in Tamarindo. This charming market is located right on Tamarindo beach, where the salty sea air and the sound of crashing waves will transport you to a culinary paradise.

Pedro’s Fish Market offers a limited selection of freshly caught local fish, including Red Snapper, Grouper, Mahi Mahi, and Tuna, as well as Lobster and Shrimp. It’s worth noting that not all types of fish are available every day, as the market only offers what is freshly caught from the ocean that day. This means you can be assured of the freshest and most sustainable seafood possible. Also, note that they sell their products by the kilogram.

Whether you’re a seasoned seafood connoisseur or a novice cook looking to experiment with fresh ingredients, Pedro’s Fish Market is a must-visit destination. While their staff speaks limited English, don’t let that deter you from stopping by – a little bit of Spanish goes a long way, and the experience is well worth the effort.

If you’re feeling adventurous, try something new like the Langosta (lobster), which is a local favorite. The frozen fish selection is also a great option for those who want to enjoy Tamarindo’s freshest seafood from the comfort of their own kitchen.

When you visit Pedro’s Fish Market, you’ll feel like a local, immersing yourself in the vibrant and flavorful culinary scene of Tamarindo. So the next time you’re in town, make sure to stop by and discover the freshest seafood Tamarindo has to offer.

Rainmaker Park is an adventure traveler’s dream come true, offering a unique experience in one of the most biologically diverse rainforests in Costa Rica. There are plenty of options to choose from when visiting the park, including guided tours and an exciting night tour. We did a self-guided tour which allowed us to enjoy the flora and fauna at our own pace.

The park’s world-renowned hanging bridges, waterfalls, and trails offer plenty of photo-ops and give you a bird’s eye view of the lush surroundings. The trails are well-maintained and easy to navigate, making them accessible to people of all ages and fitness levels. We did the longest loop, if you are able to hike upstairs, and cross hanging bridges then I highly recommend staying left at every turn.

One of the most memorable parts of our adventure was swimming in the park’s natural pools, located at the base of the stunning waterfalls. The water was refreshing and invigorating, and the views were absolutely breathtaking.

Whether you’re a nature lover, adventure seeker, or just looking for a unique experience in Costa Rica, Rainmaker Park is a must-visit destination. With its incredible natural beauty and range of activities, this park offers something for everyone. So don’t forget to bring your swimsuit and your sense of adventure when you visit Rainmaker Park!
